Scheduled Classes for spring/summer 2010
The workouts are finely balanced. In the first day the athlete can expect all sorts of speed drills -- done mostly in groups of equal level. This makes it exciting and competitive. Added to the speed drills is core and agility work to enhance stability and flexibility.
In the plyometric workout the athlete can expect to challenge the muscles with repetitive bounding and explosive movements. Dynamic squats, hops, lunges, pushups and resistant work (with a partner of equal strength) is incorporated into the mix. And always core. This workout usually leaves the athlete feeling a bit tight for a couple of days... just enough to come back asking for more.
The optional workout takes us away from our familiar territory. It takes place either at the beach, on the sand, or on stairs somewhere with a beautiful view of Vancouver in the background. This extra workout takes fitness to another level... over the edge.
